Current Position and Professional Functions
Dr. Fowler is a Professor in the Department of Medicine and Interdepartmental Division of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Toronto. He serves as a staff physician on the Critical Care Medicine Service at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. He is also a member of the Clinical Epidemiology Research Program, and a Scientist at Sunnybrook Research Institute.
Research Interests and Expertise
He has an active research program focused upon clinical outcomes of critically ill patients. He has published many research papers and currently holds peer-reviewed grants in support of his academic work.
