Research Interests and Expertise
Maya has previously worked at a boutique health consulting firm specializing in health informatics, privacy and security. This past summer, Maya volunteered at the Hospital of Sick Children through an administrative position and interned at a start-up company focusing on the development of female health technology. Maya’s experience supporting health-related initiatives and her interest in pursuing a future career in health economics or health technology makes her a great fit to the team.
Projects
A systematic review of the health-related quality of life in patients with tuberculosis. This evidence synthesis will inform patient care and support a cost-effectiveness evaluation of tuberculosis interventions.
