Current Position and Professional Functions
Lauren Cipriano is an Associate Professor at the Ivey Business School and in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University and previously worked at the Institute for Technology Assessment at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Lauren was also the 2018 winner of the Dr. Maurice McGregor Award for Health Technology Assessment from the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health.
Education and Training
Dr. Cipriano earned her PhD in Management Science and Engineering and her MS in Statistics at Stanford University. Prior to graduate school, Dr. Cipriano was a research scientist at the Institute for Technology Assessment at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Research Interests and Expertise
Lauren’s research interests focus on the application of statistics, decision analysis, operations research, and systems analysis to health policy problems with expertise in decision modeling in infectious disease policy applied to HIV and HCV.
