Education and Training
Biao Tang got his PhD degree at September, 2017 in applied mathematics from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China. During his doctoral period, he got the support from CSC of China to visit the Fields Institute, University of Toronto and York University for a period of two years.

Research Interests and Expertise
Dr. Biao Tang’s research interests are mathematical modellings of infectious diseases, especially, of the vector-borne diseases. He is also interested in investigating the threshold policies for controlling HIV and cancers through analyzing hybrid systems.
