Current Position and Professional Functions

Dr. Pinto is a family physician and Public Health and Preventive Medicine specialist at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto. He has a Masters in health policy, planning and financing from the London School of Economics and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He is currently completing a post-doctoral research fellowship at the Centre for Research on Inner City Health, funded by CIHR. Andrew's research is focused on the evaluation of complex population health interventions and examining the use of economic evaluations by policy-makers.
