Current Position and Professional Functions

Ambika is currently completing her Master’s degree in Health Services Research with a focus on Health Technology Assessment through the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation, University of Toronto.

Education and Training

Ambika Parmar is a medical oncology fellow at the Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre specializing in genitourinary malignancies (with a focus on renal cell carcinoma) and head and neck cancers. She completed her medical training at the University of Alberta, followed by a residency for Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology at the University of Toronto and Queen’s University, respectively.

Research Interests and Expertise

Her primary research focus is in applying health technology assessments to the critical appraisal of current and emerging health technologies for genitourinary and head and neck malignancies.
