Education and Training
Teresa received her BSc (Hon) in Pharmacology (specialist) with a Psychology (minor), and MSc in Pharmaceutical Science, both from the U of T. She received her Doctor of Naturopathy and Clinic Residency from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Her research training is in biostatistics, measurement methods, qualitative research methods, economic evaluation methods, and health policy. Teresa is recipient of the Harvard Book Prize, University of Toronto Scholar, American Specialty Health scholarship in Naturopathic Medicine, and Advanced Certificate in piano performance from the Trinity College, London.

Research Interests and Expertise
Teresa is a clinician, educator, and researcher. In her MSc research, she applied the means end chain approach to understand patient values in osteoarthritis. Her primary research interests are in health related quality of life methods, patient preferences, and their applications in economic analyses. She has worked as Research Manager and is current Board of Directors member of the national Interdisciplinary Network for Complementary and Alternative Medicine Research, the Canadian Chapter of the International Society for Complementary Medicine Research.
