Dr. Murray Krahn teaches pharmacoeconomics at School of Pharmacy, Addis-Ababa University, Ethiopia.
In 2008, the University of Toronto and the Addis-Ababa University in Ethiopia formed the Toronto Addis Ababa Academic Collaboration (TAAAC) with the aim of building and strengthening capacity and sustainability in medical specialities and other health and non-health professional programs in Addis Ababa. The Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy has partnered with the School of Pharmacy at Addis Ababa University to establish and support a PhD and MSc program in Social and Administrative Pharmacy at AAU. As part of this collaboration, the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy has committed to provide instructors from amongst its faculty members to teach graduate courses in this program. Currently, Dr. Murray Krahn is in Addis Ababa teaching Masters level graduate course: "An introduction to pharmacoeconomics". This is a modular course consisting of two week in-person instruction, from March 12 to 25, and followed by the one month individual project.
